Designed and Developed a Gym Workout App
This web application will function as a gym workout log for users to track their fitness routines. It will provide a user-friendly platform to record exercises, sets, reps, weights, and other work out details. Users will be able to follow available gym trainers and trainers will be able to track the trainee’s data.
Challenge
In the fitness industry, individuals often struggle to effectively track their workout routines, leading to inconsistent progress and a lack of motivation. There is a need for a comprehensive, user-friendly platform where users can log their workouts, track their progress, and receive guidance from professional trainers. This gap in the market calls for an innovative solution that not only helps users record their exercises but also connects them with trainers who can monitor and support their fitness journeys.
Results
I designed and developed a gym workout app that addresses this need, providing a seamless and intuitive user experience for logging workouts. The web application allows users to easily record exercises, sets, reps, weights, and other workout details. Additionally, users can follow gym trainers, and trainers can track their trainees’ data, offering personalized guidance and support. This solution has significantly improved users' ability to monitor their fitness progress and stay motivated, while also enhancing the trainers’ capability to manage and support their clients effectively.

Process
Research & Analysis: We conducted user interviews, surveys, and analyzed in-app analytics to understand the pain points and user needs. We also studied competitor apps and industry trends to gather insights
Information Architecture: Based on the research findings, we structured the app's navigation and content, prioritizing features and information according to user needs.
Wireframing & Prototyping: We designed low-fidelity wireframes to visualize the layout and navigation, iteratively refining them based on user feedback. Afterward, we built a high-fidelity, interactive prototype to test the design.
Usability Testing: We conducted usability tests with a diverse group of users to validate the design and identify areas for improvement. Based on the feedback, we made necessary adjustments to the design.
Visual Design & Style Guide: We developed a cohesive visual language, including color schemes, typography, and iconography, ensuring consistency throughout the app. We also created a style guide to maintain design consistency in future updates.
